Steve and Maryan Gisler are pleased to announce the upcoming marriage of their son, John Gisler to Katie Amonson of Waukee, Iowa.
Parents of the couple are Steve and Maryan of Stewartville and Kirby and Marie Amonson of Waukee, Iowa.
John is a graduate of Stewartville High School, as well as the University of Northwestern St. Paul/University of Minnesota.
Katie is a Waukee High School graduate. She received her undergraduate degree at the University of Iowa and received her Masters from Drake University.
John is a mechanical engineer at John Deere of Ankeny, Iowa.
Katie is a first grade teacher in Grimes, Iowa.
The couple will be married on Dec. 23, 2017 in Clarion, Iowa. Following their marriage they will reside in Ankeny.
