Rainy weather cancelled the 5-mile race, but 173 runners, including 83 female and 90 male runners participated in nine age groups at the Summerfest Fun Run 3-mile race. The female 3-mile race winner, Kendall Pfrimmer, age 22, ran the course in 19:48, while younger brother Lance Pfrimmer, age 18, was the male 3-mile race winner, crossing the finish line with a time of 16:29. The Stewartville Cross Country Booster Club presented donation checks from the proceeds of the run to Stewartville's Kiwanis Club, Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts.
