Bill and Char Ferrie lived in Stewartville for more than 28 years. In 2006, they moved to the country, but remained close to the city they love.
"Stewartville is still home," Char said.
Their connection to Stewartville is special in a profoundly uncommon way: All four of their children graduated from Stewartville High School, and all 12 of their grandchildren either graduated from SHS or are currently students in the Stewartville School District.
