Family, friends and educators gathered to remember Tino Mays Lewis at the Central Education Center on Friday, April 14.
Reggie Lewis, Tino's dad, was there, as were Rodney Atkins, Tino's brother, and Kameron Atkins, his nephew.
Jennifer Johnson, a paraprofessional who worked closely with Tino, and Lisa Hagstrom, a speech pathologist at Central, were also on hand.
They came to remember Tino, a special education student at Central during the 2021-22 school year who was 6 years old when he passed away unexpectedly on March 4, 2022.
They were pleased to unveil "Tino's Swing," including a platform, frame, glider, hanging nest and accessories, to be used by Central special education students in Tino's memory...
