On a warm and sunny Memorial Day morning at St. Bernard's Catholic Church Cemetery, members of local veterans organizations stand at attention in solemn tribute to the soldiers who gave their lives for America's freedom. Mayor Jimmie-John King, Stewartville American Legion Post 164 Commander Ron Moore and eighth graders Keely Hinkle and CorrinaTonn were the speakers at the annual Memorial Day ceremony at Woodlawn Cemtery that morning.
