Graduation is not an end goal in itself, but rather a small chapter in the book of life, Nichol O'Neill told a large audience at the Stewartville High School gym last week.
O'Neill, the chair of the Stewartville School Board, was a featured speaker at the SHS commencement ceremony on Sunday afternoon, June 4.
"Life is a journey, and all the accomplishments you achieve should be taken as starting points for future achievements," she said. "Graduation should serve as a launching point, projecting you to wherever your future is meant to be, whether you land yourself in a career, take up a trade, or continue your education at a college," she told the 161 graduating seniors of the SHS class of 2023...
