Audiences will enjoy a modern-day fairy tale with pop and hip hop music when the Stewartville School District presents Disney's Descendants at the SHS Performing Arts Center Thursday, May 6 through Sunday, May 9.
The story takes place in the Kingdom of Auradon, where Belle and Beast are king and queen and Ben, their son, is set to become king after he graduates from high school.
Ben's first decree as king is to invite the evil children, banished to the Isle of Evil, to Auradon to see if the two worlds can live in peace.
Chris Kuisle, the play's director, said one of the show's big lessons is not to judge a book by its cover...
