Rochester Sand & Gravel employees repaired the eight tennis courts near Stewartville High School last week, removing two inches of material, then crack sealing and overlaying the courts with two inches of asphalt. Next spring, the workers will paint white lines on the asphalt to prepare the courts for the boys tennis season. "After the season is over, the courts will be resurfaced on top of the asphalt, then will be painted," said Dan Schroeder of School Management Services, the Stewartville School District's business manager.
