Nick Vetsch, the manager of Stewartville High School’s boys varsity football, basketball and baseball teams, is the first-ever manager to be named a Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) “Most Valuable Teammate.”

Every week during a particular sports season, the Minnesota State High School League names a "Most Valuable Teammate" based on nomination letters from coaches around the state. Since the program's inception, the recipient of the award has always been an athlete.
Not anymore.
