Brady Ploenzke, a sophomore at Stewartville High School, displays the Best Mascot Ever! Award he received from the Stewartville High School boys varsity basketball team. Below is Stewie, the Tiger mascot, with Ploenzke inside. “I live to be energetic,” Ploenzke said. “I’m always energetic.”

On the prowl at football, volleyball, boys basketball or girls basketball games, the Tiger mascot cheers on Stewartville's teams in a spirit of good fun.
Inside the burnt orange tiger suit, including head, pants and tail, is Brady Ploenzke, a sophomore at Stewartville High School.
As the Stewartville Tiger, Ploenzke gets a closeup view of the action, saying, for example, that he likes to watch Will Tschetter, Stewartville's 6-foot-8 forward, dunk the basketball. But along with that, he also works hard to make children happy...
