Will Tschetter finishes a dunk for the Stewartville Tigers and wears a Michigan T-shirt, below. Tschetter and his family and friends are thrilled he’ll soon be a Michigan Wolverine. “I feel like it’s a cool opportunity to be able to play at some of the highest levels of basketball,” he said.
Will Tschetter started playing basketball at just about the same time he entered public school.
"By the time I was in kindergarten, I was playing basketball," he said. "That's the furthest back I can remember, anyway. I am sure the seeds were planted well before that. My earliest memories are shooting in our old driveway."
Tschetter didn't know it at the time, but that little boy shooting baskets in his driveway would grow to be a 6-foot-8, 225-pound power forward who would one day, during the summer of 2020, commit to play basketball at the University of Michigan.
