Grateful that 18-month old Logan Olson is back home with his mom and dad, Erin and DJ, the young parents' families have planned a community appreciation event to thank local and area residents and organizations for their prayers and support.
The event will be held at the Stewartville American Legion Post 164 this Sunday, May 23 from noon to 4 p.m. There will be silent auctions, raffles, food and games.
Proceeds will support the Olson family and many community organizations, including the Stewartville Fire Department, the Stewartville Pool, Beads of Courage, ECMO Education, American Red Cross and the Eugenio Litta Children's Hospital.
In critical condition at St. Marys Hospital after falling into a retention pond on April 7, Logan returned to his Stewartville home safe and sound on Monday, April 19.
