Burkely Ravenhorst was recognized as an Eagle Scout at a Court of Honor ceremony at Racine Memorial Park on Sunday, June 27.

At Racine Memorial Park on Sunday afternoon, June 27, Burkely Ravenhorst was honored as an Eagle Scout.
At the traditional Court of Honor ceremony, Gwen Ravenhorst, Burkely's mother, gave her son the Eagle Badge. Ryan Ravenhorst, Burkely's dad, applied the Eagle neckerchief.
Sharing his gratitude, Burkely awarded Amy Edholm the Mentor Pin, recognizing her for her strong support and encouragement during his career as a scout.
To earn the Eagle Award, the highest honor in scouting, a Boy Scout must complete a project during which he supervises a group of his fellow scouts. For his project, Burkely replanted bushes, made a website for the city of Racine, remodeled the bell tower from the old Racine school and placed the tower at Racine Memorial Park...
