The Stewartville Morning Lions Club sold plenty of pumpkins and mums at the Club’s annual Fall Festival on Saturday, Sept. 18. Morning Lions members Sheila Majerus, left, and Brian Bushman, wearing the orange vests, welcomed many visitors to the Club’s sales area.

Kateri Condon and her daughter Olivia, 8, worked together in an enjoyable sort of way on Saturday morning, Sept. 18.
The two joined scores of others who decorated pumpkins at the Stewartville Morning Lions Club's annual Fall Festival.
Olivia, a third grader at Bear Cave Intermediate School, picked a pumpkin face and did most of the decorating as her mother held the pumpkin steady.
Kateri said she attends the Fall Festival every year.
"It's something to do, to get outside," she said with a smile. "I like looking at the different craft vendors and spending more money than I need to. (Olivia) likes to get outside, and out of the house."
The Condons and hundreds of others who attended the festival enjoyed beautiful weather...
