8/31/2020 11:44:00 AM EDA OKs grants to help businesses fight COVID-19
The Economic Development Authority is helping Stewartville businesses pay for supplies to fight the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The EDA, at its regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 18, approved grants of up to $200 each for six more local businesses. Jim Kuisle, EDA president, and members Mark Rusciano, Nic Hale, Mayor Jimmie-John King and City Councilperson Craig Anderson all approved the grants. Members Kari York and Adam Wright were absent. Joya Stetson, vice president of marketing and business development for Community and Economic Development Associates (CEDA) of Chatfield, who works with the EDA to support current businesses and attract more companies to Stewartville, announced the grant recipients at the Aug. 18 meeting.
