The Stewartville School District's parents have demonstrated they truly care about their children's learning. The numbers show that a high percentage of parents took part in the district's fall parent-teacher conferences. Hollie Clarke, interim early childhood coordinator at the Central Education Center, told the School Board last week there was a great turnout of parents for early childhood virtual conferences held on Nov. 10, 12 and 19. "This is one of the greatest opportunities our teachers have to communicate how students are doing in school this year," Clarke said.
