Authorities believe the quick actions of a 15-year-old girl prevented a suspect from committing crimes even more serious than those for which he has been charged.
A Rochester man is facing charges of felony burglary in connection with the incident, alleged to have occurred in Stewartville on Tuesday, Dec. 29.
Collin Johnson, 39, faces charges that include first-degree burglary of an occupied building, a felony; first-degree burglary while possessing a dangerous weapon, also a felony; and criminal damage to property, a misdemeanor.
