Speaking at the City Council's final meeting of the year on Dec. 15, Mayor Jimmie-John King bid adieu to 2020.
"It's been quite a year, like we've never seen," he said.
Ten days before Christmas Day, King reminded the City Council and city officials about Christmas's true meaning.
"It's not about the giving, it's not about the gifts, it's about the Baby Jesus," he said. "It's about friends, and family, and mentally, our health."
He encouraged city officials and his fellow Council members to be good to themselves and to each other.
