Stewartville and area residents concerned about their COVID-19 status are driving through to get tested for the virus at Hy-Vee HealthMarket RX in Stewartville. Testing is available at the Hy-Vee site on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. each day.
Local and area residents concerned about their COVID-19 status are getting tested for the virus at Hy-Vee HealthMarket RX in Stewartville. Peter Alsleben, pharmacy manager, said local testing began last November. "There weren't too many to start, but now we're getting a pretty good response," he said. "We're doing about 12 to 15 tests per day." Residents interested in being tested must register at hy-vee.com/covidtesting, Alsleben said. "You fill out information," he said. "You answer a series of questions. You don't have to have symptoms to be tested." Residents test themselves in their vehicles at the Hy-Vee Pharmacy drive-thru. All participants must stay in their vehicles, wear a mask, follow instructions on check-in signs and have a voucher number ready...
