Ironwood Springs Christian Ranch hosted its 35th annual National Wheelchair Sports Camp last week. Some of the camp participants, including those part of a two-person team took part in the annual Wheels & Heels of Fire 10K ride from Pizza Ranch in Stewartville to Ironwood Springs on Sunday morning, June 13.

Jessica Elsberry has a special place in her heart for the National Wheelchair Sports Camp.
Elsberry, 20, of Pierce, Nebraska, joined 95 others from 15 states at this year's Camp, held at Ironwood Springs Christian Ranch.
"This is my second time in person at camp, the third time total," she said. "Last year it was virtual."
She joined a group of campers who went trap shooting at the Stewartville Sportsman's Club on Wednesday morning, June 16. Camp is a joy, she says, because there is always the chance to try new sports and activities. This year, for example, there was trap shooting, pickleball, badminton and water skiing, all of which she tried for the first time...
