Authorities are investigating the theft of about $53,000 worth of surveying equipment from the enclosed bed of a truck parked at a Stewartville home.
Captain James Schueller of the Olmsted County Sheriff's Office said the theft, which occurred at the 300 block of Second Street Northwest, was reported on Tuesday, April 5 at 1:40 p.m.
"Five pieces of surveying equipment were taken from the enclosed bed of a truck," Schueller said...
