Three students at Bear Cave Intermediate School have each won a bicycle thanks to a program sponsored by the Stewartville Masonic Lodge and the Olmsted County Deputy Sheriffs Association. Three students at Bear Cave Intermediate School were grand prize winners last week.
Destiny Hoffman, fifth grader; Kayda Suess, fourth grader; and Avery Meyer, third grader, all won bicycles courtesy of the Stewartville Masonic Lodge and the Olmsted County Deputy Sheriffs Association.
The students were announced as the winners at an all-school assembly at BCI on Thursday, Jan. 23.
The Masonic Lodge and Deputy Sheriffs Association sponsor the program to encourage young students to read. A student who reads a book and submits a basic book report has his or her name included in a drawing for the three free bicycles, held at the end of the first and second semesters each school year...
