School leaders are considering a proposal to update the sound systems in the Stewartville High School gym and Performing Arts Center.
Eric Klingsporn of Sound and Media Systems of Rochester spoke to the School Board last week, saying that his company could modernize the two sound systems for a total of about $130,000.
Sound and Media Systems proposes what Klingsporn called "easy mode" and an "advanced mode" sound systems for the PAC.
"With the easy mode, there is a touch panel, and you don't have to have a mastermind sitting in a control booth to run this thing," he said.
The advanced mode is a software-based, digital sound system, he said...
