Aware of continuing concerns about the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Grisim School Bus, Inc. wants to assure the Stewartville community it will be safe for children to ride its school buses this fall.
Curt and Connie Grisim, owners of the company; Bryan Runkle, manager; and Roger Langseth, bookkeeper, gathered last week to discuss the steps the company has taken to enhance students' safety when children head back to their classrooms.
"Being here for 36 years, we feel close to the community," Connie Grisim said. "We wanted to let the community know that safety is our top priority."
As the new school year approaches, Grisim Bus is training each of its 35 full- and part-time drivers to disinfect their buses after each group of students disembarks, Runkle said...
