After going two-and-out at the eight-team Cannon Falls Invite on Feb. 1, the Stewartville wrestling team lost 67-12 hosting Lake City on Feb. 6, as the Tiger record fell to 8-15 overall.
Stewie lost 66-18 against Cambridge-Isanti in it first match of the tourney before losing 56-15 to Plainview-Elgin-Millville. Christian Sackett won both of his matches, including pinning his 182-pound Cambridge foe to lead the Tigers in Cannon Falls.
Jon Laures recorded the fastest fall of the night for both teams, needing just 43 seconds to pin his 113-pound Lake City opponent during a one-sided affair that saw Stewie lose 12 of the 14 matches, including 10 by fall.
