On another cold, windy day, the Stewartville boys golf team struggled to score as well as in its debut meet and lost by two strokes, 345-347 at Rochester Lourdes on April 12. Freshman Caleb Jannsen led the Tigers, firing an 18-hole round of 80.
The Tiger girls battled through the cold and rain to beat Byron 212-219 on April 9 before splitting a nine-hole HVL triangular meet in Rochester on another cold and windy afternoon on April 12. Byron earned the triangular's top spot, scoring a 198 team points. Stewartville was second, carding 203 as a team and host Rochester Lourdes tallied a 209 team tally. Campbell Gunderson led the Tigers in both outings, but earned first-place overall and meet medalist honors at the triangular by firing a nine-hole round of 41...
