The Stewartville Tiger varsity bowling team won the South East (West) Class A Conference Championship when it finished the fall season on Oct. 9 with a record of 13-1 in the seven-team league. The Tigers advanced to the Nov. 13 Super Regional with the hopes of qualifying for the Minnesota High School Class A State Bowling Tournament in Austin on Nov. 20.
