Susan L. Duncan, 69, of Wabasha, passed away at her home on Saturday, Aug. 29, 2020.
Susan Louise Duncan was born on Aug. 28, 1951 in Topanga Canyon, Cal. to Donald and Bernadine (Wegner) Duncan. She grew up on the family farm, attended Stewartville schools, graduating from Stewartville High School in 1970.
She married Rick Purvis in 1972 and they later divorced after 30 years of marriage. Sue was a longtime employee at Crenlo Co. and later retired. Sue lived together with her partner, Ricky Moreland in Wabasha. She was a past member of the Stewartville United Methodist Church. Sue enjoyed boating, camping and ATVing.
Sue is survived by her parents, Donald and Bernadine Duncan of Stewartville; three sisters and one brother, Donna Pepper of Byron, Dwight "Ike" (Leslie) Duncan of Racine, Tracy (Dan) Regenscheid of Lake City, and Lisa (Mike) Stock of Chatfield, and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Donald "Sonny" Duncan Jr. and brother-in-law, Warren Pepper.
A private family memorial service will take place at Griffin-Gray Funeral Home in Stewartville followed by burial and a committal service at Woodlawn Cemetery in Stewartville.
